Irvin Talboom is a Photographer based in Breda and working everywhere.

As an autonomous photographer, I have discovered that photography is the way to get closer to myself, to connect heart (emotion) and mind (reason). When heart and mind are in imbalance, my creative process is often stimulated. I personally experience my work in confusing periods as my best work.

In various exhibitions, I have showcased the human themes of 'Loneliness' and 'Chaos and Order' in photography. These themes are a common thread in life; by focusing on those challenges and finding a way through them, people can become who they truly are. Through photography, I have found that I can explore loneliness as a universal theme by turning the camera on myself and loved ones. Everyone has their own challenges; by showing and sharing this, I feel supported and want to support others.

I aim to resolve Chaos by creating Order in my images through intuition. This leads to images where lines and planes, often symmetrical, are more important than the subject. Aesthetic, symmetry, and a good plane distribution create a tranquil image that leads to inner peace in a meditative way.
